The highlight of our year is always our annual Length of Service Dinner, celebrating our caregivers who have been with us 5 years or more (some as long as 15 years!). We have a catered dinner at the beautiful First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk. We recognize caregivers by their years of service and anyone can take the microphone and say a few words. Family members also join us which ads to the celebration. Prizes and gift cards are also raffled at the end of the evening!

Throughout the calendar year, Seniorcorp hosts and participates in a number of events for our caregivers and clients. Whether we’re grilling hotdogs and hamburgers, celebrating the holidays, caroling, listening to a barbershop quartet, having a caregiver-client tea, or hosting a series of Town Hall meetings, we always enjoy seeing our great caregivers face-to-face. And it’s especially rewarding when they bring their clients with them to an event!

The Seniorcorp staff and family members held our first Fall Festival in October of 2019. It was great to see so many of our caregivers, most of whom brought family members, friends, or even their clients! We had lots of games and prizes for the kids, including an amazing Jungle Bounce House. Plenty of hotdogs and hamburgers were consumed on a beautiful Fall Day in Hampton Roads.
